With the automatic function, managing the gears is autonomous, providing simpler and more efficient driving. Manual mode is also available using the lever on the dashboard. Comfort–Matic integrates many functions: choosing the appropriate ratios based on the road gradient; ideal road grip thanks to the measurement of the curves; better performance during acceleration and overtaking with the Kick Down function; assistance when slowing down or braking. In addition, thanks to the Up system, this type of gearbox ensures high performance even in the toughest conditions such as with maximum load or steeply sloping roads. HILL HOLDER Brakes the vehicle when starting uphill, inhibiting rearward motion without using the handbrake. The brake is released automatically (built into the ESC). 10 LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM (LDWS) The Lane Departure Warning System can determine whether the motorhome is leaving its lane, even in lowvisibility weather conditions. In the event of danger, an acoustic and visual signal alerts the driver of the potential impending threat. TRACTION+ Traction+ is the innovative traction control system that improves the motorhome traction on the most challenging surfaces, with poor grip. In the presence of ESC and under conditions of low or zero grip from any drive wheel, the control unit detects slip and brakes it, transmitting the drive torque on the wheel with greater grip on the ground. In this way, the motorhome’s performance is more comfortable, ensuring the best stability and handling. HILL DESCENT CONTROL On the steepest downhill slopes, in the presence of Traction+, it helps maintain the desired speed without having to brake continuously. So you can focus on steering, without distractions. TRAFFIC SIGNS RECOGNITION (TSR) Using the on-board camera of the LDWS, TSR assists the driver by recognising speed limit and overtaking signs and reproducing them on the on-board display so as to inform the driver. CRUISE CONTROL AND SPEED LIMITER Cruise Control allows you to set the cruising speed and keep it constant. The Speed Limiter incorporated into the cruise control on the 130 and 150 MultiJet versions allows you to set the maximum speed that the vehicle can reach, increasing safety. When the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the driver can exceed the limit set for specific overtaking manoeuvres. HIGH BEAM RECOGNITION In the presence of the LDWS, this manages the activation and deactivation of the main beam headlights, increasing visibility and reducing the risk of dazzling when driving at night, recognising vehicles travelling in the opposite direction automatically. RAIN AND DUSK SENSOR The rain sensor, in accordance with the intensity of the rain, activates the wipers and regulates their speed. The dusk sensor automatically switches on dipped beam headlights when the outside light is insufficient. 11 A first-class trip.
