1.
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery:

Wrap a shop towel around the hood latch.

the right front inner fender as shown.

Remove the left cover from the left housing.
11. Install the left housing to the front bumper with two
retaining tabs and three self-tapping screws
removed in step 8.

12. Plug the vehicle 3-pin connector into the left housing,
and secure the vehicle harness to the left housing.
13. Repeat steps 7 through 12 to install the right fog light
to the right side of the front bumper.

14. Plug the two fog light harness 2-pin connectors into
the left and right fog lights.

16. Line up the branch section of the fog light harness
with the branch section of the vehicle harness.
Bundle up the excess fog light harness, and secure
it to the vehicle harness with one wire tie as shown.
17. Secure the fog light harness to the vehicle harness
with seven wire ties.

19. Remove the vehicle ground bolt, and secure the
ground harness ground terminal to the vehicle
ground terminals.
NOTE: Do not put the ground terminal calkings on
top of one another.

22. Remove the tape to free the vehicle 1-pin connector,
and remove the dummy connector.

23. Plug the ground harness 1-pin connector into the
vehicle 1-pin connector.
25. Install the wire tie with holder to the ground harness
1-pin connector, and secure the 1-pin connectors
and ground harness to the vehicle harness with one
wire tie with holder as shown.

29. With the help of an assistant, bring the front bumper
close to the vehicle, and plug the fog light harness
2-pin connector into the ground harness 2-pin
connector. Install the front bumper.
30. Remove the under the hood relay box cover.

slots shown.
33. Remove the driver’s dashboard lower cover, and
unplug the vehicle connectors, and release the
vehicle sensor.

34. Lower and pull out the steering wheel. Apply
masking tape to the upper column cover as shown.
35. Connect the negative cable to the battery, then press
the ignition to ON. Turn the steering wheel 90°
counterclockwise. Using a plastic trim tool, release
the upper column cover.

36. Turn the steering wheel 180° clockwise. Using a
plastic trim tool, release the upper column cover.

40. Remove the lower column cover.

light switch.

44. Install the new combination light switch to the
steering column. Make sure both retaining tabs are
locked in place.

53. Turn the headlight switch to the AUTO or “
position (headlights on low beam).

temperature is cold; this is normal and should go away in
warm weather.

45. Plug the vehicle connector into the new combination
light switch. Make sure the vehicle harness is not
being stretched.
46. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properly
and all connectors are plugged in.
47. Install all removed parts except for the front
bulkhead cover and the intake air tube.
48. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
49. Install the front bulkhead cover and the intake air
tube.
50. Press and hold the audio unit power button for 2
seconds to restore the radio and navi (if equipped)
system functions.
51. Set the clock on vehicles without navigation.
52. If necessary, restore the systems back to normal
operation as described in the service information.

How to Aim the Fog Lights
56. Adjust the fog light aim by turning the adjustment
screw in or out until the correct aim is obtained.
Adjust the aim according to local laws and
regulations.
