Summary of Content
At Hyundai, our relentless aim to achieve the highest standards of quality is why we’re able to provide the peace of mind of Hyundai Assurance and America’s Best Warranty with every vehicle we build. It’s also why Hyundai received the 2016 award for being the lowest 5-Year Cost to Own of all brands according to Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com, recognizing new vehicles with the lowest projected ownership costs.1 Of course, it’s not enough for a car company to focus solely on the reliability and durability of its vehicles. That’s now just the starting point. There’s another quality, beyond the fit and finish, that consumes our efforts: Quality of life. It’s why we’ve emerged as a leader in the research and development of alternative powered vehicles, digital integration and automotive safety. We’ve done it by challenging convention in everything we do. And by insisting on new thinking and better solutions. We welcome you to take a closer look at the Hyundai 2017 lineup. And perhaps challenge some conventional thinking of your own. Notice how natural it feels? That’s our 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC at work. It’s a more linear and natural-feeling driving experience compared to the continuously variable transmissions used on some of the other competing hybrid sedans. BLUE DRIVE HYBRID SYSTEM MODERN-DAY MISSION CONTROL Sonata features an available 8˝ display audio system with convenient access to many of your favorite smartphone apps. Sync your smartphone to Sonata and access music, maps, messages and more using the car’s touchscreen or a button on the steering wheel. SiriusXM Satellite Radio and a Bluetooth hands-free phone system with voice commands and wireless audio streaming comes standard, too. Sonata Hybrid switches seamlessly between a gasoline-powered engine and an electric motor to produce its steady surge of efficient power. A gasoline engine delivers the primary charge energy for the car’s lithium-ion polymer batteries, while an enhanced regenerative braking system assists by harvesting kinetic energy and converting it into electricity. “As the debate over the relative merits of different hybrid technologies and pure-electric powertrains continues to simmer if not quite rage, Hyundai offers a compellingly simple solution: sell them all.” - Car and Driver, March 2016 ioniq IONIQ HYBRID LIMITED with Ultimate Package in Symphony Air Silver 2017 hyundai ioniq 2017 hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid plug-in CHARGING port 120V CHARGING cable hybrid tech display 2017 hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell Tucson Fuel Cell 2017 HYUNDAI Lineup POPULAR features • Hands-free smart trunk with auto-open • Heated/ventilated front seats • 8” touchscreen navigation system with rearview camera • Blue Link® Connected Car System • Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ support • Infinity® Logic 7® Surround Sound Audio • Power tilt-and-slide panoramic sunroof 2017 HYUNDAI Lineup 2017 ioniq EV / HYBRID Powertrain FEATURES • 139 net hp, 1.6L GDI Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder hybrid engine (Hybrid) • 88 kW permanent magnet high-power density motor (EV) (Electric) • 6-speed EcoShift® Dual Clutch Transmission with Sport mode (Hybrid) or single-speed reduction gear transmission (EV) (Electric) • 360V 240V (EV) lithium-ion or 240V polymer lithium-ion battery polymer battery STYLING AND SAFETY Features • Active grille shutters (Hybrid) • Charge port (EV) (Electric) • LED Automatic headlights HID Xenon or automatic or LED HID headlights Xenon with Dynamic headlights withBending Dynamic Light Bending Light • LED Daytime Running Lights • Rear spoiler LED brake light/LED taillights • Chrome door handles with approach lights • Heated side power-folding mirrors with sideturn mirrors signalwith indicators turn • signal Power indicators folding side and mirrors/puddle puddle lampslamps (EV) • 15˝ / 16˝ / 17˝ alloy wheels • Regenerative ABS with Brake Assist • Automatic Emergency Braking Braking • Hillstart Assist Control • Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-traffic Alert • Vehicle Stability Management/Traction Control • Tire Pressure Monitoring System • Lane Departure Warning • 7-airbag safety with driver’s knee airbag • Smart Cruise Control with stop/start • Rearview camera and rear parking sensors • Electronic Rear parking Parking sensors Brake (Hybrid) • Illuminated Electronic Parking vanity mirrors/sun Brake (EV)visor extensions • Illuminated Power tilt-and-slide vanity mirrors/sun sunroof visor extensions COMFORT AND TECHNOLOGY Features • Proximity Key entry with push button start • Automatic Dual zone automatic temperature temperature control control • LED interior lighting • Tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel with audio/phone/cruise controls • Leather-wrapped steering wheel/shift knob • Leather Premiumseating cloth or surfaces leather seating surfaces • 10-way power driver seat/lumbar adjustment • Integrated Memory System for driver seat • 6-way adjustable passenger seat with height adjustment • Heated front seats • One-touch front seats auto-down/up window • 60/40 split-folding rear seats • Smartphone/USB auxiliary input jacks • Hybrid Technology Display • 7˝ TFT LCD instrument cluster • 8˝ touchscreen audio/navigation system • Infinity® Premium Audio System • SiriusXM® Satellite Radio and HD Radio™ • Bluetooth® hands-free phone system with phonebook transfer and audio streaming • Blue Link® Connected Car System • Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ support • Qi wireless device charging • Auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass and HomeLink® • Regenerative braking control paddles (EV) (Electric) • Floor console-mounted rear vents • Rear center armrest with cup holders • Premium door sill plates • Power tilt-and-slide sunroof POPULAR features • Best-in-class Button-type shift-by-wire MPG/MPGe (Electric) ratings • 8˝ touchscreen navigation system audio system • Rearview Infinity® premium camera and rear parking sensors • Qi wireless device charging • Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ support • Blind Spot SpotDetection/Rear Detection/LaneCross-traffic Change Assist Alert • Automatic Emergency Braking • Lane SmartDeparture Cruise Control Warning with stop/start • HID/LED Rearviewheadlights/Dynamic camera and rear parking Bending sensors Light • Smart HID/LED Cruise headlights/Dynamic Control Bending Light 2017 veloster 2017 accent footnotes 1) Vehicles’ projected cost to own for the initial 5-year ownership period is based on the average Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own data, which considers depreciation and costs such as fuel and insurance. For more information, please visit kbb.com. 2) Only use Blue Link and corresponding devices when it’s safe to do so. Blue Link subscription service agreement required. Features vary by subscription plan. Blue Link service works using CDMA-based cellular networks in the 50 United States. Blue Link service is not available where there is no cellular coverage, particularly in enclosed or remote areas. Service availability may be affected by signal strength, foliage, weather, topographical conditions (mountains) and nearby structures (tall buildings, tunnels) and other factors. For additional details and system limitations, please visit HyundaiBlueLink.com. 3) Remote Vehicle Start is only available for push button start equipped vehicles with an automatic transmission or a Dual Clutch Transmission. Not available on all models. Remote Climate Control is available on properly equipped models with fully automatic temperature control. Remote Stop is only available while the vehicle is in Remote Start mode. 4) Blue Link Connected Care includes one year of the Blue Link Connected Care Package and requires an active Blue Link subscription. One-year term starts from the new vehicle date of first use and is available for new vehicle purchases and leases based upon terms and conditions on the Blue Link subscription enrollment pages. Cellular and GPS coverage is required. 5) 5,000-pound towing capacity on Santa Fe SE, SE Ultimate, Limited and Limited Ultimate models equipped with trailer brakes (2,000-pound towing capacity without). 6) Smart Cruise Control (SCC) is not a collision avoidance or warning device. SCC is for highway use only and should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, or on winding or slippery roads. The driver is responsible for slowing or stopping the vehicle to avoid a collision. 7) The Lane Departure Warning operates above approximately 44 mph and only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road. It will not prevent loss of control. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for more information. america’s best warranty 8) Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) is designed to detect vehicles whose taillights are directly in front of your Hyundai. AEB initiates full braking at speeds between 5-50 mph when detecting other vehicles and 5-43 mph when detecting pedestrians. Operation speeds may vary by model. AEB is not a substitute for safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations. 9) Do not rely completely on Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and be sure to use proper lane changing procedures. BSD may not detect every object or vehicle and will not prevent accidents. Lane Change Assist provides an audible and visual alert if the turn signal is activated and another vehicle in the blind spot is sensed. There are limitations to the function, range, detection and clarity of the system. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for more information. 10) Government 5-Star Safety Ratings are part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (safercar.gov). The 2016 TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating applies to vehicles equipped with available Automatic Emergency Braking and is based on the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s good ratings in the small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests, as well as an advanced or superior rating for front crash prevention. For details, visit iihs.org. 11) The Forward Collision Warning system is intended to be a supplement to safe driving practices. The system is not designed to detect certain stationary objects such as trees or poles, and may not detect all vehicles under certain conditions. The system does not provide a braking function. The driver is responsible for being attentive and maintaining control of the vehicle, and should not wait for the system’s alerts before braking as there may not be sufficient time to brake safely. 12) EPA estimates are for comparison only. Mileage may vary. Your actual mileage will vary with options, driving conditions, driving habits and your vehicle’s condition. 13) All SiriusXM services require a subscription, sold separately by SiriusXM after trial period.
