Scout GPS Link with MapStream™ and TurnStream™ Modes
MapStream™ Mode
Scout GPS Link is a mobile navigation app that uses your vehicle’s¹ center
screen to provide you with a reliable navigation experience that’s designed
for driving. Search and plan ahead on your phone² and get clear visual and
audio directions on your vehicle’s screen as you begin your drive. Save time
in your everyday driving with the interactive moving map³, traffic-based
commute times, real-time ETA, and effortless search with voice command
and One-Box Search. With Scout GPS Link, get the best of both worlds on
the go: the convenience of a larger screen and the benefits of real-time
information from the cloud.
Scout GPS Link MapStream mode includes an interactive map display invehicle. This mode requires Bluetooth and USB connection and is available
in select 2018 Lexus vehicles with Display Audio.

Get Started with Scout GPS Link for Select 2018 Lexus NX and RC Vehicles
®
Available in 2018 Lexus NX and RC vehicles with Display Audio. To access Scout® GPS Link, you will need a compatible
iPhone® or Android™ smartphone that is connected via Bluetooth and USB. The Scout GPS Link app must be running on
your smartphone. This app utilizes your smartphone’s data plan. To use Scout® GPS Link on your Lexus Display Audio, the
app needs to be loaded on both your smartphone and the Lexus Display Audio system. Please park your vehicle and follow
the directions below to set up Scout® GPS Link in your vehicle.
1 Download apps to your smartphone
4 Connect Phone to vehicle with USB Cable
1. Go to mobile app store.
2. Download Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0 mobile app.
3. Download Scout® GPS Link mobile app.
Use manufacturer-approved USB cable and connect
smartphone to vehicle.
2 Complete first time user experience
5 Start using Scout® GPS Link in car
1. On smartphone, open Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0 and continue as a
guest or sign in using the same account created during enrollment on My
Lexus Enform.
2. On smartphone, open Scout® GPS Link app and create a new account to
save your navigation history and destinations.
1. On smartphone, launch Lexus Enform App Suite
2.0 and Scout® GPS Link.
2. On head unit, press Menu › Apps › Scout®.
3 Connect to Lexus Display Audio via Bluetooth
1. On smartphone, go to Settings › Bluetooth › turn Bluetooth on.
2. On head unit, press Menu › Setup › Bluetooth › Add New Device.
3. Select your mobile device name.
4. On smartphone, make sure vehicle PIN matches, select Pair.
5. On smartphone, select Allow for Enform to communicate with vehicle.

6 Add Scout® GPS Link to Enform home screen
1. On head unit, press Menu › Setup › Customize Home Screen.
2. Select Change Layout.
3. Select preferred screen layout.
4. Under “What information would you like to display?” select Scout®.
5. Select area in layout to display Scout®.

1. On smartphone, go to Settings › Bluetooth › turn Bluetooth on.

5 Download Scout® GPS Link in-vehicle
1. On your vehicle screen display, select Now to
update your Lexus Display Audio to download the
Scout® GPS Link in-vehicle app.
2. Select Download in Background to use other Lexus
Display Audio functions in the meantime.
2 Download app to your smartphone
1. Go to mobile app store.
2. Download Scout® GPS Link mobile app.
6 Install Scout® GPS Link in-vehicle
After the update finishes downloading, select Install
to complete Scout® GPS Link in-vehicle installation.
3 Complete first time user experience
On smartphone, open Scout® GPS Link and create a new account
to save your navigation history and destinations.
7 Start using Scout® GPS Link in car
From the head unit main menu, select Connected

4 Sync your phone and vehicle
This screen or the map screen will appear on your
smartphone when the Scout® GPS Link mobile and
in-vehicle apps have successfully synced.
