Pre-Collision System When the millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera sensors detect a collision with a vehicle or pedestrian*1 ahead is likely, it alerts the driver and activates pre-collision brake assist when the driver depresses the brake pedal. If the driver cannot depress the brake pedal, it activates pre-collision braking. LKA (Lane Keeping Assist) On expressways and automobile-only roads, LKA assists steering in the current lane when Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with full speed range is activated. It also alerts the driver with a buzzer and on the multi-information display if the system judges the vehicle is about to cross the lane markings, and assists steering to help avoid lane departure.
