The Pursuit of Perfection
lexus.com P1-1005 (07/10) 00217-LXBRO-11 Printed in U.S.A. (46.7M) ©2010 Lexus.
Since our inception more than 20 years ago, our pursuit of perfection has
led to craftsmanship, innovation and ownership experiences that continue
to redefine the industry. And now, with the 2011 LX, we offer yet another
way to take on whatever you encounter.
the 2011 LX

having it all.
conquering it all.
The 2011 LX empowers the driver like never before, delivering the
capability you desire in an off-road vehicle—without making you feel like
you’re actually driving one. With intelligent technology that helps you
see more of your surroundings. A remarkable suspension system that
can automatically adjust to the current road conditions (even if you’re not
driving on an actual road). And, of course, the uncompromising luxury
and craftsmanship that only a Lexus can provide. This is the 2011 LX.
Let the adventure begin.

where necessary.
The finest destinations aren’t necessarily destinations at all. Especially when you take into account
the interior of the LX. That virtually flawless available semi-aniline leather? The result of an
exacting process only a human touch can provide. To achieve the seamless look of the wood trim,
we rely on the eyes of Master Craftsmen trained to discern even the most subtle differences in
grain and color, whether it’s the golden bird’s-eye maple or the available African bubinga. All this,
combined with features like a four-zone climate-control system and seating for eight, makes for a
vehicle that can take you just about anywhere—in the most luxurious way imaginable.

WIDE-VIEW FRONT AND SIDE MONITOR1
The LX can be equipped with the latest technology to expand your line of sight.
An available Wide-view Front and Side Monitor 1 helps make navigating blind
intersections, narrow passageways and tight parking spaces more convenient.
Learn more at lexus.com/LX/monitor.
LEXUS ENFORM ® 2,3 WITH SAFETY CONNECT™ 2,4
At the touch of a button, this available service offers 24-hour live assistance—
without requiring a cell phone. Service agents can help you find a restaurant,
locate your vehicle if it’s stolen and even send emergency help if the vehicle’s
airbags 5 deploy. Learn more at lexus.com/LX/enform.
MARK LEVINSON ® 6
Car audio shouldn’t sound like car audio. With 19 strategically placed speakers
and 7.1-channel architecture, the available Mark Levinson Reference Surround
Sound System 6 provides so much clarity, you can actually sense where each
instrument is on the virtual stage. Learn more at lexus.com/LX/levinson.
it helps you see.
it helps you hear.
it just helps.
While designing the LX, we kept one thought in mind: A better-informed
driver makes for a better driver. Which is why we offer a sophisticated
video system—including a standard rearview backup camera7—to help
you see more of your surroundings. The option to access live assistance—
without requiring a cell phone. And an available Rear-Seat Entertainment
System (RSES) that helps keep your passengers quiet and content.
Because a less distracted driver is a better informed driver.

difficult conditions
ahead, just not for you.
Snow? Rocks? Ice? Sand? If you’re looking for a way to hold back
the LX, you’re going to have to try harder than that. With full-time
four-wheel drive and a TORSEN® limited-slip center differential,8
this is one vehicle that’s prepared for just about anything. Find
yourself faced with a particularly daunting off-road challenge?
Active Height Control (X-AHC) and Adaptive Variable Suspension
(AVS) allow the LX to adjust its ground clearance height and
shock absorber damping to better accommodate the rougher
conditions. So, relax and take on those obstacles with confidence.
This is the 2011 LX, and intimidation is not a factor. See a
demonstration of Active Height Control at lexus.com/LX/AHC.

MULTI-TERRAIN ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)
Control is essential to safety. Multi-terrain ABS is designed to
constantly monitor the road’s surface and make adjustments to help
ensure the ideal braking strategy for each driving situation, resulting
in improved stopping distance on a wider range of road surfaces.
technology that helps
empower and protect.
CRAWL CONTROL9
Driving over rugged terrain demands careful control of the accelerator
and brake pedals. Crawl Control,9 working somewhat like the off-road
equivalent of cruise control, maintains a slow and steady driving pace,
so you can concentrate on steering your LX safely to your destination.
AVAILABLE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM 10
A front-mounted millimeter-wave radar sensor helps detect when a collision
appears imminent. It then quickly reacts to help protect you and your
passengers: preemptively retracting the front seatbelts and preparing Brake
Assist,11 for increased braking force when you step on the brake pedal.

astounding capability,
even on asphalt.
Every adventure has a road that leads to it. Which is why the LX
was designed to be as adept in the civilized world as it is in the wild.
A 383-horsepower,12 5.7-liter V8 churns out an unrelenting 403 lb-ft
of torque12 —90% of which is available at a low 2,200 RPM—for optimal
acceleration and response—and a towing capacity of up to 7,000 pounds.13
Combine this brute strength with a seamless six-speed sequentialshift automatic transmission, plus a continuously adjusting Adaptive
Variable Suspension (AVS) system, and you have a vehicle that exhibits
extraordinary power and grace. Even on those winding mountain roads.

One more way we pursue perfection is by working to reduce our environmental impact. The paper used for the pages of this
brochure, referred to in the printing industry as “Lexus Pursuit 30,” is composed of 30% post-consumer waste.40 It’s also
manufactured with 100% certified renewable energy sources and has garnered just about every environmentally responsible
acronym you can imagine. Including FSC, SFI and PEFC certifications and ECF and pH-neutral designations.

Vehicle theft-deterrent and engine-immobilizer system,15 with in-key transponder
1. The Wide-view Front and Side Monitor does not provide a comprehensive view of the front and side areas of the vehicle. You should also look around outside your vehicle and use your mirrors to
confirm clearance. Cold weather will limit effectiveness and view may become cloudy. 2. Lexus Enform and Safety Connect are available. Contact with the Lexus Enform and/or Safety Connect
response center is dependent upon the telematics device being in operative condition, cellular connection availability, navigation map data and GPS satellite signal reception, which can limit the
ability to reach the response center or receive emergency support. Enrollment and Telematics Subscription Service Agreement required. One-year trial subscription available only with new vehicle
purchase of Lexus Enform– and Safety Connect–equipped vehicles. Additional subscription terms available; charges vary by subscription term selected. 3. Lexus Enform premium services
Destination Assist and eDestination will function in the contiguous United States. These services may also function in Hawaii and limited areas of Alaska for vehicles that contain map data for those
states. They will not function in Canada or in other countries outside the United States. 4. The Safety Connect services Automatic Collision Notification, Emergency Assistance and Stolen Vehicle
Location will function in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, and in Canada; Enhanced Roadside Assistance will function in the United States (except for Hawaii) and in Canada. No Safety
Connect services will function outside of the United States in countries other than Canada. 5. All the airbag (AB) systems are Supplemental Restraint Systems. All ABs (if installed) are designed to
inflate only under certain conditions and in certain types of severe collisions: frontal and knee ABs typically inflate in frontal collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions; Roll-Sensing Curtain
ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the
seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The
force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further information/warnings. 6. Mark Levinson is a registered trademark of Harman International
Industries, Inc. 7. The backup camera does not provide a comprehensive view of the rear area of the vehicle. You should also look around outside your vehicle and use your mirrors to confirm
rearward clearance. Cold weather will limit effectiveness and view may become cloudy. 8. TORSEN® is a registered trademark of Zexel Torsen, Inc. 9. The LX 570 is designed to meet most off-road
driving requirements, but off-roading is inherently dangerous. Abusive use may result in bodily harm or vehicle damage. Lexus encourages responsible operation to protect you, your vehicle and the
environment. Seatbelts should be worn at all times. 10. The Pre-Collision System is designed to help reduce the crash speed and damage in certain frontal collisions only. It is not a collision-avoidance
system and is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness depends on many factors, such as speed, driver input and road conditions. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further
information. 11. Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper
brake-system maintenance and tire and road conditions. 12. Ratings achieved using the required premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. If premium fuel is not used,
performance will decrease. 13. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. If gross trailer weight is
above 5,000 lb (2,268 kg), it is necessary to use a weight-distributing hitch with sufficient capacity. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions and cautions from your trailer-hitch
manufacturer and vehicle Owner’s Manual. The maximum amount you can tow depends on the total weight of any cargo, occupants and available equipment. 14. The SmartAccess system may
interfere with some pacemakers or cardiac defibrillators. If you have one of these medical devices, please talk to your doctor to see if you should deactivate this system. 15. The engine immobilizer
is a state-of-the-art anti-theft system. When you insert your key into the ignition switch or bring a SmartAccess fob into the vehicle, the key transmits an electronic code to the vehicle. The engine will
only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key or SmartAccess fob matches the code in the vehicle’s immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key or SmartAccess
fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or SmartAccess fob, your Lexus dealer can help. Alternatively, you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high-security key services
by consulting your local Yellow Pages or by contacting www. aloa.org. 16. Continuous average power, all channels driven, at less than 0.1% THD; 20–20,000 Hz. 17. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
is designed to assist the driver and is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving practices. Please see your Owner’s Manual for important instructions and cautions. 18. Currently available PPO.
Ask your Dealer Sales Consultant for vehicle application. 19. Headphones are for passenger use only. Do not use while operating vehicle. 20. 20-in and 22-in performance tires are expected to
experience greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be substantially less than 20,000 miles (20-in) or 15,000 (22-in), depending on driving conditions. 21. F Sport Performance
Equipment are aftermarket parts and are not Genuine Lexus Parts and, therefore, may not be used in any application that requires the use of Genuine Lexus Parts. F Sport Performance Equipment
installed by dealer is warranted for 12 months from the date of installation or for the balance of the new-car or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty in force at the date of installation, whichever is
greater, when installed by an authorized Lexus dealer. F Sport Performance Equipment installed by anyone other than an authorized Lexus dealer is warranted for 12 months from the date of
purchase only, and the warranty coverage is limited to the replacement value of the F Sport Equipment. These warranties do not cover maintenance services such as replacement of brake pads/
linings and clutch linings. These warranties do not cover maintenance fees such as noise, vibration, cosmetic conditions and other deterioration caused by normal wear and tear. Part failure caused
by improper installation by anyone other than an authorized Lexus dealer may void the F Sport Equipment warranty, the new-vehicle warranty or both. F Sport is a trademark of Toyota Motor
Corporation. Products available through participating Lexus dealers. 22. Measurement of vehicle in AHC Normal setting. 23. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution.
24. Performance figures are for comparison only and were obtained with prototype vehicles by professional drivers using special safety equipment and procedures. Do not attempt. 25. EPAestimated mileage. Actual mileage will vary. 26. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a
substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether VSC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your
Owner’s Manual for further details. 27. Roof rack with cross bars is not recommended for luggage. 28. Roof rack capacity is 130 lb. Please see your Owner’s Manual for details. 29. The Lexus
Personalized Settings (LPS) Program is a one-time, complimentary offer for new vehicles for the first 12 months from the date the vehicle is sold. Please see your Lexus dealer for more information.
30. Coverage only available in the continental U.S. and Canada. Please see your local Lexus dealer for details on our Enhanced Roadside Assistance program. 31. Availability and accuracy of the
information provided by the Navigation System or any XM services mentioned (if installed) are dependent upon many factors. Use common sense when relying on information provided. Services
not available in every city or roadway. Periodic Navigation updates available at additional cost. Please see your Navigation System Owner’s Manual or contact XM for details. 32. The Bluetooth
technology phones listed on lexus.com have been tested for compatibility with Lexus vehicles. Performance will vary based on phone software version, coverage and your wireless carrier. Phones
are warranted by their manufacturer, not Lexus. 33. XM services require a subscription after trial period. Subscriptions governed by XM Customer Agreement available at xmradio.com. If you
decide to continue your XM service at the end of your complimentary trial, the plan you choose will automatically renew and bill at then-current rates unless you call 1-800-967-2346 to cancel.
Fees and programming subject to change. Available only to those at least 18 years of age in the 48 contiguous United States and D.C. 34. iPod is a registered trademark of Apple Inc. All rights
reserved. 35. Bluetooth audio device must be enabled with A2DP and AVRCP. 36. HAC is designed to help minimize backward rolling on steep ascents. It is not a substitute for safe driving
judgment and practices. Factors including grade, surface conditions and driver input can all affect whether HAC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner’s Manual for
further details. 37. The Adaptive Front Lighting System can help improve vision at night. However, conditions such as dirty windshield, rapidly changing light conditions or hilly terrain will limit
effectiveness so that the driver may need to manually change the high beams from on to off. Please see your Owner’s Manual for details. 38. The Tire Pressure Monitor alerts the driver when tire
pressure is critically low. For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge; do not rely solely on the monitor system. Please see your Owner’s Manual
for details. 39. Active headrests can help reduce the extent of whiplash in certain types of rear-end collisions. 40. Cover stock is composed of 10% post-consumer waste.
