Lexus Personalized Settings Your vehicle includes a variety of electronic features that can be programmed to your preferences. The programming of these features is performed once at no charge by your Lexus Dealer provided you obtain the service at the 6-month/5,000-mile scheduled maintenance service. It is also possible to customize certain vehicle features yourself using the vehicle’s display screen. Vehicle must be in “On” mode to program personalized settings. To customize your vehicle’s settings: 1. Touch the Settings icon 2022 NX 450h+/350h on the lower left side of the main menu screen. 2. Scroll down the menu and select “Vehicle Customize.” 3. Select the desired categories for customization. There are three methods of making changes through the display, as seen here: an On/Off toggle, an adjustable slider and a link to multiple settings options. Programmable by Guest HEAD UP DISPLAY* Head Up Display The Head-up display projects driving-related information and the operating state of the driving support systems onto the windshield. o On (Default) o Off HUD Mode: Brightness The brightness of the head-up display can be adjusted. o Drag the slider to adjust the brightness of the display HUD Mode: Display Customization The position and amount of information on the head-up display may be adjusted. o Full: Displays the same amount of information as the Standard setting, but the information takes up the whole display o Standard (Default): Displays the same amount of information as the Full setting, but the information is located in the lower portion of the display o Minimal: Only displays current speed METER Display Switching* Control the information that appears on the vehicle’s multi-information display with the arrows. o Touch the left and right arrows to cycle through various informational meters on the multi-information display screen, like adaptive cruise mode, fuel status, speed, EV driving ratio, etc. REV Indicator* Alert that the engine speed (RPM) is too high and should be reduced. o On (Default) o Off LIGHTS Headlights: Auto on sensitivity The front headlights can be programmed to turn On under varying degrees of ambient light conditions (headlight switch must be in Auto mode). o Brighter o Bright o Normal (Default) o Dark o Darker * If equipped LPS options were correct at time of development of this form. All options are subject to change without prior notice. 1 Programmable by Guest (continued) LIGHTS (continued) Headlights: Auto off timer The front headlights can be programmed to turn Off after a certain delay once the ignition is turned off and all the doors are closed (headlight switch must be in On or Auto mode). o 90 seconds o 60 seconds o 30 seconds (Default) o Off Headlights: Daytime running lights The daytime running lights make your vehicle more visible to other drivers during daytime driving. o On (Default) o Off Exterior lights: Auto off timer The exterior lights can be programmed to stay on for a certain length of time after closing the door. o 30 seconds o 15 seconds (Default) o 7.5 seconds o Off Interior lights: Auto off timer The interior lights can be adjusted to stay on after closing the door. o 30 seconds o 15 seconds (Default) o 7.5 seconds o Off DOOR CONTROL Door auto lock/unlock: Auto unlock The automatic door unlocking function is programmable. o By shift to park (Default) = The doors automatically unlock when the vehicle is shifted into Park o By driver door = All the doors automatically unlock when the driver door is opened o Off = The doors will not automatically unlock Door auto lock: By shift from P The doors automatically lock when the vehicle is taken out of Park and shifted into another range. o On ( Default) o Off Wireless electronic key: 2-press unlock The unlock button on the electronic key is programmable. o On (Default) = Pressing the unlock button one time unlocks the driver’s door and two times unlocks all doors o Off = Pressing the unlock button one time unlocks all doors Smart access doors: Unlock The smart access system can be used to unlock the doors. o All doors = Gripping the driver door handle will unlock all doors o Driver door only (Default) = Gripping the driver door handle will unlock the driver’s door * If equipped LPS options were correct at time of development of this form. All options are subject to change without prior notice. 2 Programmable by Guest (continued) DOOR CONTROL (continued) Key settings: Auto relock timer If the doors are unlocked but not opened, they can be programmed to automatically relock after a certain length of time. o 120 seconds o 60 seconds (Default) o 30 seconds o Off Key settings: Feedback lights The flashing lights after the lock or unlock button on the electronic key is pressed can be programmed. o On (Default) = Lock button makes lights flash once/Unlock button makes lights flash twice o Off = Lights will not flash Key settings: Feedback tone The tone volume after the lock button on the electronic key is pressed can be programmed. o Drag the slider to adjust the volume of the tone Back door: Buzzer volume The back door buzzer volume can be programmed. o Soft o Normal o Loud (Default) Back door: Opening position The back door can be programmed to open to a pre-selected height. o 5 (Default) o 4 o 3 o 2 o 1 o Manual BOARDING & EXIT Driver easy exit: Seat slide* When the vehicle is placed in Park and the ignition turned Off, the driver seat will: o Full (Default) = Automatically move fully away from the steering wheel o Partial = Automatically move partially away from the steering wheel o Off = Remain in the current position, as set by the driver Driver easy exit: Steering column When vehicle is shifted into Park and engine switch turned to ACC or off, steering wheel will automatically move to facilitate the driver’s exit from the vehicle. o Tilt (Default) = Automatically tilt up from the driver o Telescopic = Automatically move away from the driver o Tilt & telescopic = Automatically tilt up and move away from the driver o Off = Remain in the current position * If equipped LPS options were correct at time of development of this form. All options are subject to change without prior notice. 3 Programmable by Guest (continued) CHARGING* (NX 450h+ vehicles only) Charging: Connector lock The plug-in charging cable automatically locks when connected to the vehicle. The lock release settings are programmable. o Auto lock (Default) = The cable unlocks when the vehicle doors are unlocked o Auto lock & auto unlock = The cable unlocks when the vehicle doors are unlocked, or when charging is complete o Off = The charging connector lock function is completely disabled Charging: Battery cooling When the charging cable is plugged in, it will cool the battery before charging. This increases the total charging time but allows the battery to be charged to a higher level. o On (Default) o Off Charging: Battery warming When the charging cable is plugged in, it will warm the battery before charging. This increases the total charging time but allows the battery to be charged to a higher level. o On (Default) o Off STEERING SWITCH* Left side Steering switch preferences: Layout The steering buttons on the left side can be used for climiate or audio customization. o Audio (Default) o Climate o Custom Right side Steering switch preferences: Layout The steering buttons on the right side adjust the head up display brightness/position, the display menus and the monitoring system. o Display control (Default) o Custom Options Winter gloves mode The sensitivity of the steering wheel arrow switched may be increased. o On o Off (Default) CLIMATE Auto seat temperature: Front left Adjust the sensitivity level for climate controlled (A/C, heater) driver seat. o +2 o +1 o 0 (Default) o -1 o -2 * If equipped LPS options were correct at time of development of this form. UTILITY Rear seat reminder As a reminder not to forget luggage, etc. in the rear seat, a buzzer may sound for 6 seconds after the engine is turned off if a rear door is not opened. o On (Default) o Off Programmable by Dealer 1 Unlock on Second Key Turn When using the mechanical key to unlock the doors: o Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will not close the windows and moon roof (Default) = Off o Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will close the windows and moon roof = On 2 Illumination of the Interior Cabin Light when Approaching the Vehicle When approaching the vehicle with the electronic key: o The cabin light will illuminate (Default) = On o The cabin light will not illuminate = Off 3 Illumination of the Interior Cabin Light when Unlocking Door When using the electronic or mechanical key to unlock the door: o The cabin light will not illuminate = Off o The cabin light will illuminate (Default) = On 4 Interior Light The interior light will illuminate when Power is switched to Off: o Off o On (Default) * If equipped LPS options were correct at time of development of this form. Dealer only 6 Programmable by Dealer (continued) 14 Power Back Door Switch Operation The back door opener button can be programmed as follows: o Press button one time to open back door = No Delay o Press and hold the button for 0.8 seconds to open back door (Default) = Short Delay 15 Back Door Chime The chime that sounds while opening the back door can be programmed as follows: o Start buzzer On; in-operation buzzer Off (Default) o Start buzzer Off; in-operation buzzer On 16 Power Back Door Open Assist Operation Pressing the power back door opener button on the rear door engages the power door function, and the door opens. o Off o On (Default) 17 Opening Back Door Using Electronic Key Press and hold the back door opener button on the electronic key to: o Unlock and open only the back door o Unlock all doors, and open the back door (Default) 18 Moon Roof* Switch - Auto Operation Pressing the open/close switch will automatically open or close the moon roof in one motion: o Off o On (Default) 19 Driver Seat Belt Reminder When the vehicle reaches 12 mph: o The driver seat belt reminder will not beep = Off o The driver seat belt reminder will beep (Default) = On Dealer only 20 Front Passenger Seat Belt Reminder When the vehicle reaches 12 mph: o The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off o The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default) = On 21 Rear Right Passenger Seat Belt Reminder When the vehicle reaches 12 mph: o The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off o The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default) = On 22 Rear Left Passenger Seat Belt Reminder When the vehicle reaches 12 mph: o The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off o The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default) = On 23 Rear Center Passenger Seat Belt Reminder When the vehicle reaches 12 mph: o The passenger seat belt reminder will not beep = Off o The passenger seat belt reminder will beep (Default) = On * If equipped LPS options were correct at time of development of this form. All options are subject to change without prior notice. 7 Programmable by Dealer (continued) Dealer only 24 Lane Change Signal Flashes When the turn signal lever is pushed partway to signal a lane change, the signal will flash: o Off o 3 times (Default) o 4 times o 5 times o 6 times o 7 times 25 Lane Change Flasher Volume The turn signal volume can be programmed: o Loud o Medium (Default) o Soft 26 Open Window Buzzer When the lock button on the electronic key is pressed and a window is not fully closed: o The buzzer will not sound = Off o The buzzer will sound (Default) = On 27 Open Moon Roof* Buzzer When the lock button on the electronic key is pressed and the moon roof is not fully closed: o The buzzer will not sound = Off o The buzzer will sound (Default) = On 28 Suggestion Function Suggestion messages for headlight operation and power window lock displayed on the Multi-Information Display: o On (Default) o On While Stopped o Off 29 Reverse Beep Alert When the vehicle is shifted into Reverse: o The alert will beep continuously = Continuous o The alert will beep once (Default) = Once 30 Panic Mode When pressing the panic button on the electronic key: o The alarm will not sound and the vehicle lights will not flash = Off o he alarm will sound intermittently and the vehicle lights will flash (Default) = On Date Customer Signature Repair Order Number (Dealer only) Vehicle Identification Number (Dealer only) * If equipped LPS options were correct at time of development of this form.
