SHAPED BY THE WIND The new Lancer Evolution has been designed to minimise aerodynamic drag and maximise aesthetic appeal. The major evolutionary leap forward in this regard has to be the implementation of blister fenders. Norihiko Yoshimine, the designer behind the idea, explains: “I heard people saying how the functional beauty of such extreme shapes was really cool.” The rest is wind-tunnel history. You can personalise the look of your Lancer Evolution with options such as sports striping, or decoration foil for the B-pillar or tailgate.
