A choice of short wheelbase (SWB) or the extra cargo area of a long wheelbase (LWB) means Express is perfectly suited to your business needs. The 1.6L twin turbo diesel or 2.0L single turbo diesel engines deliver more than enough power to carry those everyday loads, again and again. All new styling is complemented by exterior highlights including Daytime Running Lights (DRL), front and rear bumpers with integrated rear step bumper design, and a sleek distinctive front design. 2 SHORT WHEELBASE 3 The functional and efficient size of the Express short wheelbase allows up to 5.2m3 cargo capacity, while still allowing you to comfortably navigate impossibly tight parking and loading spaces. Floor to ceiling door access on both sides and at the rear, coupled with a low, flat floor enables flexible and efficient use of the cargo space. Available in 6-speed manual or 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, Express short wheelbase is powered by a 1.6L twin turbo diesel or 2.0L turbo diesel engine and has a raft of standard features including, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), Rear Parking Sensors, Electronic Stability Control, heated side mirrors with electric adjustment, single zone air conditioning and cruise control. 4 LONG WHEELBASE 5 If you need to carry extra long items or just need more space, you can’t go past the Express long wheelbase with up to 6.0m3 cargo capacity. Available in 6-speed manual or 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission powered by a 1.6L twin turbo or 2.0L turbo diesel engine, it effortlessly delivers performance and comfort day after day. The Express van’ driver cockpit is a flexible and comfortable space, with an intuitive dashboard design plus all the technology and storage space you need right at your fingertips. A generous cargo area doesn’t mean you compromise on comfort and space. In fact, the Express offers ample room up front with a dual passenger bench seat for up to three passengers (including driver). The Express van provides incredible flexiblilty and efficient loading and unloading options. Rear twin barn doors have an 85-degree and 160-degree stop and can accept a pallet directly from a forklift. Left and right side sliding doors provide easy access from the street or footpath. Multiple tie down anchors help keep your items secure at all times, and extra long length cargo can slide under the passenger bench seat into the passenger footwell. Total payload ranges from 1115-1200 kg across the Express range, with up to 2000kg braked towing capacity and a 200kg roof load limit. 8 Power and Efficiency Protect your people. Protect your business. Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) Both SWB and LWB models offer the choice of two engine variants. The highly efficient 1.6L twin turbo Diesel engine provides 103kW of power and 340Nm of torque, utilising a 6-speed manual transmission. Workplace safety is paramount and the Express van delivers it with active and passive safety features that provide greater driver control. The 2.0L single turbo diesel engine offers impressive performance with 125kW of power and 380Nm of torque. This is delivered via a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, providing fast, smooth gear shifting and ensuring the most efficient use of power and torque. Mitsubishi’s Electronic Stability Control is a sophisticated driver aid that senses loss of traction and then applies the brakes and/or reduces power to the wheels to keep your Express van on track. Mitsubishi’s Electronic Brakeforce Distribution works hand-inhand with your vans Anti-lock Braking Systems computer to assess load and distribute braking force between the front and rear wheels. When you have a load in the rear, the system distributes more braking force to the rear wheels to improve stability under high brake loads, and shorten the stopping distance when compared to fixed brake distribution. Both engines provide a perfect balance in terms of performance and fuel efficiency. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Hill Start Assist (HSA) Steep city streets or congested shopping mall ramps are no longer a problem with Mitsubishi’s Hill Start Assist technology. It prevents the car from rolling backwards by maintaining braking force to give you time to move your foot from brake to accelerator. Rear Parking Sensors and Camera Mitsubishi’s Rear View Camera# and Parking Sensors assist when maneuvering in tight spots. Sensors detect and warn you if you’re getting too close to objects behind you when reversing. Rain Sensing Wipers# Mitsubishi’s Rain Sensing Wipers activate automatically when moisture is detected on the windscreen, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and your focus on the road ahead.
